    Housing Information
    The military provides two option for the use of your BAH. Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
    The first option is to live on base. Your second option is to use your BAH to buy or rent a house off base. We provide you with military friendly information to help you maximize your BAH. 
    On Base Housing 

    • The Unaccompanied Housing (850) 884-3188 is reserved for airmen in the ranks of E1-E3 and E4 with less than 3 years of service. You are provided with private sleeping room, furnishings, bed linens and supplies required for comfortable living.

    • The Housing Management Office (000) 000-0000. Contact the HMO Office as soon as you know you are moving. You will be provided with the latest information on local housing as well as referral services and relocation assistance. The HMO offers counseling and guidance before entering into a lease agreement, housing referrals as well as resolving tenant-landlord dispute.   

    • Hurlburt Field on base housing is privatized and operated by Corvias. Corvias - Hurlburt Field (850) 344-0220 offers single family homes based upon rank and family size. The community amenities offers playgrounds, parks and much more.

    About Hurlburt Field 
    Hurlburt Field began as a training field for the nearby Eglin Field. Atomic bomb training missions took place at Hurlburt, and the Gulf area climate made an excellent stand-in site for the Pacific island bases for the Pacific theater. Units assigned to Hurlburt Field today include the Air Force Special Operations Command, the 1st Special Operations Wing, and the USAF Special Operations School.
